Professional Journey
Before joining Midnight Blue, Jim served as CEO of a successful technology services firm, overseeing everything from strategic planning and financial management to team leadership and client success. His experience running a full business gave him a unique perspective on strategy, operations, and the importance of people in driving results.
“Transitioning from my own company to MBTS taught me how to adapt and collaborate within a structured team environment,” Jim says. “It’s been incredibly rewarding to focus on helping a team succeed while achieving company goals.”
Role at Midnight Blue Technology Services
As Chief Operating Officer and Traction EOS Integrator, Jim manages daily operations and aligns leadership processes to keep the company focused on its objectives. From streamlining workflows to supporting teams and clients, he ensures Midnight Blue runs efficiently and effectively.
“I enjoy turning big-picture goals into actionable steps,” he explains. “Seeing these efforts translate into growth and success for both clients and the company is incredibly satisfying.”
What He Loves About His Role
For Jim, the most rewarding part of his role is the ability to bring clarity and structure to complex operations. “I like helping the team stay aligned, focused, and empowered. When everything clicks, it’s a great feeling for everyone involved.”
Getting to Know Jim
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be an entrepreneur; to build and lead something of my own. That drive has guided me throughout my life.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Golfing, running, working out, and spending time with my Golden Retriever. Staying active keeps me energized and focused.
Who do you admire most in your life?
My parents. They instilled in me the values of hard work and integrity, which continue to guide my personal and professional life.
Can you share something unique that has happened in your life?
One of the biggest transitions of my life was moving from CEO of my own company to joining Midnight Blue Technology Services. It challenged me to adapt from running every aspect of a business to collaborating within a structured team; and it taught me a lot about teamwork and growth.
What is your favorite book?
Traction, which introduced me to the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and practical ways to scale a business effectively.
What is your favorite food?
Pizza.
Where is your favorite place to visit?
I love discovering local public golf courses and taking weekend getaways.
What is your favorite binge-worthy TV series?
I don’t watch much TV, preferring to spend my free time golfing, working out, or working on meaningful projects.
